We offer opportunities to help and to learn about nearly all aspects of home building.  With this in mind, YOU DO NOT need to be an expert in construction to help out on a work site. There are many tasks that require only a willingness to learn and to work with others.

On-site construction work is the most popular of Habitat's volunteer opportunities. We make every effort to incorporate all willing volunteers regardless of skill level.   What we ask from you is that you give us a morning, 9:00-12:00, or an afternoon, 12:30-3:30, of your time if you want to join us on the worksite.  All volunteers on the construction site must be at least 16 years of age or older and volunteers under 18 must have a waiver signed by his/her parent or guardian in order to be on the worksite.  

If you are interested in working with Habitat for Humanity and are not quite sure if contruction is where you belong, we encourage you to give it a shot anyway.  But not everyone is fit for construction work, and Habitat is not short on other volunteer opportunities.  We are always in search of new committee members, as well as general office assistance, and people to prepare lunches for our volunteers.

2. In Person Registration & Orientation.
   Currently held once a month, on the second Thursday of the month at 5:15pm.  See the Events Calendar for specific dates.
